World Combat (ワールドコンバット Wārudo Konbatto?), known worldwide as Warzaid, is an arcade light gun game developed and published by Konami released on arcade platforms in Japan 2002, and worldwide 2003. It would be Wartran Troopers sequel. This installment was produced by Shigenobu Matsuyama.
Synopsis[]
A mysterious Undead Army that suddenly appeared. The Undead Army with modern weapons and quickly conquered the world. The player becomes an army soldier and throws himself into the battlefield with a rifle in hand to protect what he loves and protects.
Ranks[]
The game features a "rank system" same as US Army Rank in which the rank rises and falls according to the player's performance. Each time a player's score reaches a certain level, their rank rises (promotes) accordingly. However, if the player is injured (damaged) by an enemy attack, they will be demoted one class.
If the score reaches the specified level, the player will be promoted regardless of whether they are in action or not, so the rank system is slightly different from Lethal Enforcers 3, Wartran Troopers, and Police 911, which are promoted each time the player clears a stage.

Team (Platoon)[]
In a multiplayer game, a "Leader System" is automatically implemented, where a leader is appointed.
Leader system[]
If you play the game with two or more players, the player with the highest rank in the team (or the player with the highest score if there are multiple such players) will be automatically appointed as the "leader" when clearing the stage.
Leaders are granted the following privileges:
- Life Bonus (Leader Bonus)
- When you clear a stage, you will receive one life as a leader bonus. Normally, you can accumulate as many lives as you want, but some arcades limit the number of lives you have depending on the settings of the machine.
- Leaders take risks such as:
- Lots of bullets
- Perhaps because leaders benefit from life bonuses, they have an overwhelmingly higher rate of hits (bullets that take damage if they don't dodge) than other friendly soldiers.
Unique terminology[]
- strategy
- The stage. In this work, it is described as "Operation".
- Operation Success
- Clearing the stage. Leaders receive life bonuses.
- Retreat (Operation failure)
- If you fail to clear the stage within the time limit (operation time), you will be forced to "retreat". In other words, the stage is "operation failure". If the operation fails, all participants will have one health cut in the name of "health loss" and move on to the next operation.
- Operational time
- Time limit. If the boss cannot be defeated after this time (if the objective cannot be achieved in the elimination number corresponding stage), the boss will be forced to retreat and proceed to the next stage with the operation failed.
- When the remaining operation time is less than one minute, "Hurry up! Just no time!" I hear the words.
