The Konami Chara Cards (コナミ キャラカード Konami Kyara Kādo?) (a play on "Konami Character Cards") are sets of collectible cards Konami included within games released on the Famicom and the Famicom Disk System in the 1980s and 1990s. Each game came with one card of its respective set and each featured an original artwork portraying an event from that particular game (usually depicting the hero fighting an enemy or boss).
While most sets are thought to be comprised of an average of six cards, it is unknown how many were produced for each particular game (some are known to have only one card).
The title of the game, as well as a serial number, came on the back of each card.[1]
