Castlevania: Marble of Souls is a marble pusher arcade game developed and published by Konami.
Overview[]
Castlevania: Marble of Souls is a marble game that awards the player with collectible cards. It is a reskinned conversion of Marble Carnival (also by Konami) with added features proper to the Castlevania franchise, such as related characters, events and music.
There are a total of 10 different cards the player can win, each featuring a famous character from the franchise. Most cards use classic artworks from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls by Ayami Kojima, as well as a few other original artworks from other entries in the series.
Gameplay[]
Gameplay is typical to most pusher games, although with some key differences. There is a push table on top with all the marbles and collectible cards, and a drop area below that is usually empty. Gameplay consists of shooting marbles out to push other marbles for tickets and hopefully a card drop. One can aim the marbles on either the left or right side, and they'll then fall down a very small hole, having a chance to land on a small half pipe and hopefully land on a spinning wheel. Landing on the spinning wheel gives the player a chance to spin a virtual wheel for marble and card drops on the pushing table, as well as more free spins, or even a bonus wheel. A marble will be dropped into a funnel that runs around until it drops to get extra marbles. This wheel has a chance of 10, 30, 50, 100 or 500 marble drop. If the player gets the 500 marble drop, a big spiral of marbles will drop from the center of the cabinet, accompanied by a corresponding video and a light show.
